Today’s message was obviously one that people wanted to hear. We had a record-breaking 535 in attendance this morning! So, what do you think of the things Pastor Eric had to say? Please share your opinions by posting comments below. Seriously, leave a comment! Surely you all have some sort of reaction to this one! (If you missed the message, it should be available online by tomorrow… http://www.shorelinechurch.net/audio.html)

Well, first of all, my husband was ready to make-out by half way through the service, which obviously is not the norm for a Sunday morning. Seriously though, I was so glad for my daughter to hear the message! I am so thankful to have a church that helps us navigate through real life!

I loved the George Michael bit!! Awesome!!
I completely agree with everything Pastor Eric said. I’m a mother of two and have never been married (fill in the blanks) I know that sex outside of marriage is wrong. Period. No matter what the circumstances. I really think Pastor Eric put it in a way that everyone could understand, regardless of whether they were spiritual, christian, or not. “no sex before marriage” is definately something I will talk to my children about, when they are old enough. I think MAYBE if someone would have talked to me about it the way Pastor Eric did, I MIGHT have listened.
I say bravo for having the guts to talk about this topic in church!! AND it’s never too late to turn your life around and start doing right! Just because you have messed up in the past, doesn’t mean you can’t make a new boundry and start living a new life!!
