Hey, ladies! Looking for something fun to do this summer? A bunch of Shoreline ladies have purchased season passes to Big Kahuna’s. This isn’t a Life Group, but many of us (with our kids) will be meeting at Big Kahuna’s every Friday beginning June 13th. For more information, call me!

If you happen to grab the June/July 2008 issue of Emerald Coast magazine, look at page 68. There’s a cute picture of Hillary Fosdyck with her husband, Cory. They just might be the most photogenic couple at Shoreline Church!

Speaking of which, Hillary recently modeled for Houston8, along with Shoreline member Hunter Dawson. You should be seeing them on the Houston8 web site soon! If you like their pictures and want some of your own, contact yet another Shoreline member, Ryan Manthey of Pure7 Studios.

Shoreline is having a baby dedication on Mother’s Day. It’s been awhile - since March 2007, actually. If you want to have your baby (or child) dedicated, please indicate such on your connection card this Sunday or call the church office at 650-8658.

This is pretty exciting! You know that digital billboard in front of Destin Commons? Shoreline will be on it for the next 3 months. Our image will likely change a few times. Check it out!

This Sunday, January 27th, is Get Life Day! After Pastor Eric’s message (”Friends Are Friends Forever, Aren’t They?”), we’ll watch a video that introduces all the spring life groups. You’ll also receive a menu to use February-May. Hope to see you there!

In January, Shoreline Church will begin a series on BOUNDARIES. We’ll kick off with “What Would Jesus Drink?” on January 6th and “Sex: When To Say Yes” on January 13th. You might be surprised by what Pastor Eric has to say. Invite your friends! This is a series you definitely don’t want to miss!

This Christmas, Shoreline is partnering with the Walden family (photo below) and their state-wide organization that provides foster homes for disabled individuals. We will be purchasing and delivering gifts to these children and individuals as well as offering encouragement during a season when they are often ignored, even by their own families. Each gift also presents an opportunity to share the love and hope of Christ. Gift tags are available in the lobby with a requested item as well as any necessary instructions.

Congratulations to Pastor Sam and his wonderful wife Monica! Their little girl was born yesterday afternoon. Her name is Amy and she’ll be an absolutely delightful addition to Shoreline Church!
